Since moving to the East coast this past Summer, I have been doing my best to locate my LSSs. There is only one within a radius that is a sensible drive from my home. It's a fine place and I hope to discuss its qualities at a later date, but to the point of the matter; where can I get my fix? Online was the only answer since driving almost two hours South or North from me was out of the question. I set about casting my net on the web and yielded a great catch of stores.
What I noticed was that many - a great deal of - possibilities were in Utah (no surprise since that is where the latest incarnation of scrapbooking arose from) and many others in CA and AZ. Okay, that's fine, but I like to keep my shipping $s low and my rate of arrival sooner than the West coast can offer. Therefore I started looking Eastward and have come up with a good list of great stores to buy from. I'll list them here for those readers who may be looking for an online papercraft supplier in similar locations or for those who just want to check other stores out. There may be similar sites that I list and this is because there is no such thing as one-size-fits-all. Every merchant, blogger or service has something unique to offer and it is mentioned here precisely for that reason.
That blog is created out of the desire to share the following with other papercrafters in the world:
1. An unofficial, ongoing list of online papercrafting supply stores
2. Those store are categorized as being to the East or West of the Rockies with greater emphasis on the Eastern locations (my physical location).
3. A place to share my paper art and discuss/critique in a constructive manner.
4. A way to meet others who share my passion for creating with paper, scissors, glue, ink and so forth without being too serious. Hey, art is my life, not my worry.
5. Whatever else may come of being online, sharing and doing.
Come On Over,
M...
